Son of Otis Thompson Crafts.
John served as a Captain, 47th Infantry Battalion, 5th Armored Division, U.S. Army during World War II.
He resided in Hillsborough County, New Hampshire prior to the war.
John was "Killed In Action" near the Eure River in France during the war and was awarded the Purple Heart.
Service # O-448758
His brother, Capt. Donald K Crafts who served in the same division, was also "Killed In Action" during the war. They are interred next to each other here at Brittany at the request of their father.
