Gunner of B-26 Marauder #42-96080 "The Flying Dutchman II" that took off from station 455 in Holmsley South, Hampshire, UK on a bombing mission over the Isle-Adam bridge.

The plane was hit by flak, crashed and exploded 30 miles northwest of Le Mans, France. Missing Air Crew Report 9206.
